Established in 2006, the ladder is a global boutique executive search company specialising in digital, technology, media and communications.
Our track record of sourcing high performance talent for our clients has lead to our collective mantra of ‘tomorrow’s people’, typically the professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators able to transcend the complexity and ambiguity of the new economy, driving transformational change and competitive advantage.
With over 200 clients across a diverse range of industry sectors, our methodology, flat fee structure and incorporated on-boarding service is similarly relevant across all geographies and delivers in the most competitive, talent-short markets.
Our delivery capability covers all continents, and our ongoing investment in technology and online channels, means our network continues to build 24/7.
From mid-senior/board level appointments, the core of our business is retained and exclusive.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Whether it’s a footprint in a new location, or market or achieving critical mass, our PE and VC network is expanding.
On-boarding, Coaching & Mentoring
Accredited and industry specific, the ladder's independent network of experts focus on individual, team and company transition.
N.B. Onboarding is included in our executive search flat fee structure and across all of the ladder's senior placements. Common wisdom and research indicates that new employees have about 90-120 days to understand the social and performance framework, and to learn the attitudes, knowledge, skills and behaviours required to function at an optimum level. Maximising performance, quickly, is our primary focus.
Our mission is to be inclusive and mobilise our network to inspire others to overcome adversity and maximise their potential. We provide our time, resources and a % of our annual income to the three institutions below, and as a client or candidate of the ladder, you're welcome to assist in any way you deem appropriate:
enya, The Enterprise Network for Young Australians, who believe, as we do, that entrepreneurial thinking can change the world!
Oasis, The Salvation Army’s response to youth homelessness in Sydney.
A Start in Life, who support Australia youth through barriers to their education, enabling them to reach their potential.
An international poll by Hyper Island on “Tomorrow’s Most Wanted”, which revealed that cultural alignment and personality are of greater significance than skill set, cuts to the very core of the ladder’s vision, methodology and mission.
Our vision is to equip businesses with the tools and the talent to compete tomorrow, and provide a network for professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators that realise their ambitions and aspirations.
Our methodology provides competitive advantage through defining “tomorrow’s people” by:
• Soft skill and cultural alignment assessment tools to benchmark adaptability, resourcefulness, resiliency, humility, collaboration, creative thinking, emotional intelligence and overall leadership qualities.
• Achievement performance benchmarking peer to peer on a global scale.
• Mobilising talent across geographical and industry borders.
Our mission is to be inclusive and mobilise our network to inspire others to overcome adversity and maximise their potential.
